Terms & Policies

These terms and policies ("Terms") govern bookings made with Atlas Mountains Tours ("we," "us," "our"), covering our accommodations (Tissi House and Riad Dar Kella), guided tours and excursions, and yoga sessions in the Ourika Valley. By making a booking with us — by WhatsApp, email, or our website — you agree to these Terms.

1. Bookings & Payment

A booking is confirmed once we've replied to your request in writing (by WhatsApp or email) confirming the dates, property or session, and price, and any required deposit has been received.

• Prices are quoted per night for accommodation, and per person for tours and yoga sessions, unless stated otherwise.
• Tissi House is a private, whole-house rental — the nightly rate covers the full property, not per room.
• We may ask for a deposit to hold your dates, with the balance due on arrival unless we've agreed otherwise in writing.
• Accepted payment methods will be confirmed with you at the time of booking.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

Because we're a small, local operation with limited availability, late cancellations affect us directly. Our general policy:

• 7 or more days before arrival: full refund of any deposit paid.
• 3–6 days before arrival: 50% of the deposit is refundable.
• Less than 72 hours before arrival, or no-shows: deposits are non-refundable.

We understand travel plans sometimes change for reasons outside your control. If something comes up, contact us as early as possible — we'll always try to find a fair solution, such as moving your dates instead of forfeiting your deposit.

3. Accommodation Policy

Check-in & check-out

Standard check-in is from 2:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM. Earlier check-in or later check-out can often be arranged on request, depending on other bookings — just ask us in advance.

Occupancy

Please book for the actual number of guests staying. If your group is larger than what you originally booked for, let us know beforehand so we can confirm the property can accommodate everyone comfortably.

Damage & house condition

Guests are responsible for the property during their stay and are expected to leave it in the condition they found it. Any damage beyond normal wear and tear may be charged to the guest.

4. Tours & Excursions

Our day trips and multi-day excursions (Essaouira, Agafay, Merzouga, and similar) depend on weather, road conditions, and group logistics. We reserve the right to adjust an itinerary, departure time, or route where conditions make the original plan unsafe or impractical, and we'll always aim to offer an equivalent alternative when we do.

Please arrive at the agreed pickup point and time — we'll do our best to accommodate delays, but extended waiting may affect the rest of the day's schedule for the whole group.

5. Yoga Sessions

All yoga sessions are held outdoors in the Ourika Valley, Atlas Mountains — this is the only location where we teach. Sessions take place on natural, sometimes uneven terrain and are subject to weather; if conditions make a session unsafe, we'll reschedule you to another time slot at no extra cost.

Let us know about any injuries, medical conditions, or physical limitations when you book, so your instructor can adapt the session appropriately. Sessions are capped at a small group size, so please arrive on time — late arrivals may not be able to join a session already in progress.

6. Liability & Assumption of Risk

Travel in the Atlas Mountains — including hiking, off-road transfers, and outdoor yoga on natural terrain — carries inherent risks that don't exist in a city or a studio. By booking with us, you acknowledge these risks and agree to follow your guide's or instructor's safety instructions at all times.

• We recommend all guests hold valid travel insurance covering activities undertaken during their trip.
• We are not liable for loss, injury, illness, or damage arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control, including weather, road conditions, or third-party services.
• Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

7. Guest Conduct

We ask all guests to treat our team, our properties, and local communities with respect. We reserve the right to end a tour, session, or stay without refund in cases of behavior that is abusive, unsafe, or seriously disruptive to other guests or our staff.

8. Privacy

When you book with us, we collect the information needed to arrange your stay or session — typically your name, contact details, and dates. We use this only to manage your booking and communicate with you about it, and we don't sell or share it with third parties beyond what's needed to deliver the service you've booked (for example, a driver arranged for your transfer).

You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us using the details below.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time as our services change. The version in effect at the time you make a booking is the one that applies to it. We'll post the current version here with an updated date at the top of the page.
